Consume 70 calories from cola and run for 9 minutes

If the cola is converted into calories, how much time of exercise would it take to completely burn it off? The Coca-Cola Company has launched a calorie calculator, telling consumers that to drink a 330cc can of Coke containing 139 calories, they would need to do 22 minutes of aerobic exercise, 9 minutes of brisk jogging, 19 minutes of climbing stairs, 39 minutes of cleaning windows or 70 minutes of vacuuming the floor.

The British Daily Mail recently reported that Coca-Cola has released a calorie calculator on its official UK website, which shows the calories of all its popular drinks and indicates what kind of exercise is needed and how long it takes to burn off the calories.

For example, drinking a 330cc can of Sprite is equivalent to drinking 144 calories, which requires 47 minutes of ballroom dancing, 20 minutes of climbing stairs, and 25 minutes of playing badminton. However, the above options are still feasible, but if you are asked to iron clothes continuously for 73 minutes, it may test your endurance.

Regarding the housework method that may make people feel daunted, Coca-Cola suggests that people can turn on the speakers and play dynamic melodies to add fun and help burn calories.

The report pointed out that the main reason Coca-Cola launched this conversion calculator is that it hopes consumers can take their health into consideration while enjoying delicious drinks. However, this move has sparked criticism from British consumers, who believe that the calorie calculator does not clearly list the sugar content of various beverages, and has no way of knowing what kind of sugar it is, and whether it will increase the metabolic burden on the human body and cause other diseases besides obesity.
