Call me the star of tomorrow successfully lost weight and showed off her slim figure

"We are all rising stars!" More than 20 people who have successfully lost weight gathered at Chang Bin Show Chwan Hospital to show off their good figures after losing weight, and displayed their confidence and smiles. Doctors said that over the past year, more than a hundred fat men and women have undergone minimally invasive surgery or gastric balloon weight loss. All members have lost a total of 2,000 kilograms and reduced health hazards such as diabetes caused by obesity.

Among the successful weight loss cases, 49-year-old Huang Liwen weighed 98 kg before losing weight. At that time, she ate two lunch boxes with an additional basket of steamed dumplings or a bowl of noodles for each meal. She was so fat that she would gasp when walking. After undergoing gastric bypass surgery, she lost 25 kg in 4 months.

Ms. Qiu, 45, said that she weighed 96 kilograms before the operation and had metabolic diseases such as hyperlipidemia. She had tried liposuction in the past, but the effect was not good. After undergoing minimally invasive endoscopic weight loss surgery, combined with exercise and a healthy diet, she has lost nearly 30 kilograms in the past year, and biochemical indicators such as cholesterol, triglycerides and uric acid have returned to normal and are well controlled.

Dr. Lin Jianhua, director of the Weight Control Center of Changbin Show Chwan Hospital, pointed out that the definition of obesity is mainly calculated based on the body mass index. Generally, a healthy adult should have a body mass index between 18.5 and 24. A body mass index greater than 24 is considered overweight, and a body mass index greater than 27 is considered obese. When it exceeds 35, it is usually called morbid obesity. In addition to controlling morbid obesity through diet and exercise, there are different treatments for different degrees of obesity. "Endoscopic minimally invasive weight loss surgery" and "gastric balloon" are both reference options.

Dr. Lin Jianhua said that endoscopic minimally invasive weight loss surgery only leaves about 3 to 5 1 to 2 cm wounds on the abdomen, and does not require major surgery. There are three main surgical methods, namely "gastric bypass", "sleeve gastrectomy" and "gastric banding", while gastric balloon surgery is to place a water balloon in the stomach, all of which are designed to reduce stomach capacity to reduce absorption and ultimately achieve the goal of losing weight.
