What to do if your uterus prolapses

What should I do if my uterus prolapses?

Uterine prolapse is an adverse gynecological disease, usually caused by weak pelvic tissue, old age, increased abdominal pressure, pregnancy, childbirth, etc. The main symptoms of the disease and patients are low back pain, decreased libido, etc. It is recommended to take treatment measures as soon as these adverse symptoms are found.

1. Mann's surgery

Once the uterus prolapses, it can be treated with Mann's surgery, which is suitable for young patients with uterine prolapse caused by elongated cervix. The surgical process is to repair the anterior and posterior walls of the vagina, shorten the main ligament, and remove part of the cervix.

2. Drug treatment

Uterine prolapse is not very serious, so some patients can achieve the purpose of treatment through some drugs, mainly estrogen preparations. The specific method and dosage of medication should be strictly followed by the doctor's instructions, and should not be used at will, so as not to affect the improvement of the condition.

3. Vaginal closure

Vaginal closure can also be used to treat uterine prolapse. It is mainly semi-closed. The operation is relatively simple and the postoperative effect is generally ideal. However, vaginal closure also has disadvantages. The patient will lose sexual function after the operation.

4. Pelvic floor reconstruction surgery

Pelvic floor reconstruction also plays an outstanding role in the treatment of uterine prolapse, but this operation has certain difficulties, so in order to achieve the ideal surgical effect, we should choose a doctor with more clinical experience to perform the operation.

Once uterine prolapse occurs, the above methods can be used for relevant treatment. In fact, there are many ways to improve this disease, and the specific choice needs to be combined with the needs of the disease. In daily life, pelvic floor muscle exercises should be strengthened, heavy physical labor should be avoided, a reasonable diet should be maintained, and more fiber-rich foods should be eaten. At the same time, relevant follow-up examinations should be carried out regularly to monitor the recovery status of the disease and deal with problems in a timely manner.
