Why does cervical hypertrophy occur?

Why does cervical hypertrophy occur?

Cervical hypertrophy may be caused by cervical gland cysts, repeated stimulation of chronic inflammation, and other reasons. It can be treated with local medication and oral medication.

Causes of cervical hypertrophy:

1. Cervical gland cyst: In the female cervical transformation zone, the squamous epithelium will replace the columnar epithelium. In this process, the gland opening will be blocked, which will cause the gland secretions to be unable to drain out and accumulate locally to form cysts, which will also cause hypertrophy symptoms deep in the gland. This is a normal phenomenon and does not require special treatment. It will resolve on its own after a period of time.

2. Chronic inflammation and repeated stimulation: If infected by pathogens such as mycoplasma and bacteria, it will cause pelvic inflammatory disease, cervicitis and other diseases. If it is not treated in time, it will cause repeated inflammation stimulation of the cervical tissue, causing symptoms such as congestion and edema. At the same time, it will also cause hyperplasia of the cervical glandular stroma, causing symptoms of cervical hypertrophy. You can take antibiotics such as cefixime capsules and amoxicillin capsules as a doctor's advice to inhibit inflammation and control the condition.

3. Other reasons: If you are a multiparous woman, or have undergone multiple artificial abortions, and do not pay attention to the hygiene of the affected area, bacteria will enter the cervical tissue and repeatedly stimulate the cervix for a long time, which will also cause cervical hypertrophy. You can use Baofukang suppositories, metronidazole suppositories, etc. as prescribed by the doctor to inhibit local inflammation and improve symptoms.

Things to note about cervical hypertrophy:

You should pay attention to local hygiene, change your underwear regularly, and disinfect it in time to avoid bacterial infection.
