Premature ovarian failure test

Premature ovarian failure test

Premature ovarian failure examination:

If you have premature ovarian failure, it will indeed endanger your health, so you should get checked as soon as possible. There are many ways to check. First, you can check through physical signs, or you can check through B-ultrasound or laparoscopy.

1. B-ultrasound examination

After B-ultrasound examination, the ovaries were small and without follicles, which means premature ovarian failure; the ovaries were normal in size and there was unresponsive ovary syndrome.

2. Gynecological examination

Gynecological examinations show that the vaginal mucosa is thin, and congestion or uterine atrophy may also occur. This can also help determine whether a woman has premature ovarian failure.

3. Laparoscopy

Premature ovarian failure can be seen as small ovaries, easy to atrophy, unclear follicles, no basal follicles under the microscope, normal ovarian size, and multiple small follicles can be seen after laparoscopy.

IV. Other examinations

Endocrine hormone testing may reveal that various items may reach menopausal levels at any time, and three tests are required to confirm the diagnosis.

5. Vaginal exfoliated cells

Examination of vaginal exfoliated cells showed low estrogen levels and the presence of basal cells, which can also lead to premature ovarian failure.

6. Blood hormone levels

The blood androgen levels of patients with premature ovarian failure are similar to those of their parents. Androstenedione levels are lower than those of normal women of the same age. If there is adrenal autoimmune disease, other features will also appear.

7. Ovarian biopsy

Ovarian biopsy has its own role in the diagnosis of oophoritis, because there are reports that ovarian biopsy will show the absence of follicles, and there may be a chance of pregnancy during this process, which shows the one-sidedness of ovarian biopsy. Most scholars do not advocate the choice of ovarian biopsy to diagnose the cause and evaluation of premature ovarian failure.
