Candidal vaginitis is vulvovaginal candidiasis. Vulvovaginal candidiasis does not itch, but the watery discharge may be caused by the disease itself, or by cervicitis, endometritis and other causes.

1. The disease itself:

Vulvovaginal candidiasis is an inflammatory lesion caused by Candida infection, which can lead to vaginal inflammatory reactions, manifested by vulvar itching and abnormal vaginal discharge. The discharge may be tofu dregs or curd, or it may be thin leucorrhea. It can be treated under the guidance of a doctor with drugs such as clotrimazole suppositories, nystatin vaginal suppositories, and nystatin tablets.

2. Cervicitis:

It may be caused by microbial infection, mechanical stimulation and other factors, which can lead to inflammation of the cervix, vagina and cervical mucosa. The main symptoms are increased vaginal discharge, abnormal vaginal bleeding, etc. Drugs such as doxycycline hydrochloride tablets, minocycline hydrochloride tablets, and azithromycin dispersible tablets can be used for treatment according to the doctor's advice.

3. Endometritis:

Usually, bacteria break through the uterine defense and invade the endometrium. Due to inflammatory stimulation, it may cause irregular shedding of the endometrium, causing abnormal vaginal bleeding, and may also be accompanied by abnormal vaginal discharge. Drugs such as ceftriaxone sodium for injection, cefotaxime sodium for injection, and metronidazole injection can be used under the guidance of a doctor.

In addition to the above reasons, it may also be caused by fallopian tube cysts, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, etc. You can go to the hospital's gynecology and oncology departments for detailed examination and diagnosis, and then carry out targeted treatment based on the diagnosis results.
