How to treat ovarian cysts

How to treat ovarian cysts

Ovarian cyst refers to a cystic structure that forms inside or on the surface of a woman's ovary. It can be relieved through general treatment, drug therapy, surgical treatment, and other methods.

1. General treatment: If the ovarian cyst does not cause physical discomfort, choose to observe temporarily and do relevant nursing work. For example, get enough sleep, do not stay up late, pay more attention to personal hygiene, and prevent infection. Go to the hospital for regular check-ups to understand the development of the cyst.

2. Drug treatment: For inflammatory cysts, such as ovarian cysts caused by salpingitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, etc., antibiotics can be used for treatment under the guidance of a doctor, such as metronidazole tablets, cefixime dispersible tablets, etc. These drugs can play an anti-inflammatory role. At the same time, you can also take Chinese patent medicines such as Guizhi Fuling Capsules and Shaofu Zhuyu Granules to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis according to the doctor's advice, thereby promoting the absorption and disappearance of the cyst.

3. Surgical treatment: If the cyst diameter is greater than 5 cm, the cyst gradually increases, and the abdominal pain is obvious, you can choose surgical treatment under the guidance of a doctor. Common surgical methods include laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy, open ovarian cystectomy, oophorectomy on the affected side, total hysterectomy, and adnexectomy.

Note: During the treatment, you should relax and avoid anxiety and tension. At the same time, you should maintain good living habits, pay more attention to rest, and avoid fatigue. Take medicine according to the doctor's advice and do not use it privately. If you have any discomfort, you need to seek medical help as soon as possible.
