What is vulvar leukoplakia?

Vulvar leukoplakia is clinically known as vulvar dystrophy or vulvar precancerous lesions. Cellular lesions and necrosis make it impossible to absorb nutrients from the body, resulting in decreased body resistance and recovery ability of the patient, accompanied by various gynecological diseases.

The symptoms of vulvar leukoplakia are itching of the vulvar skin, long-term dampness, airtightness, vaginal discharge, hardening, roughness, ulcers and other irritations of the vulvar skin. Severe vulvar leukoplakia patients are also accompanied by vulvar atrophy or hyperplasia. 80% of the above patients have white or gray vulvar skin, commonly known as vulvar leukoplakia.

When the early symptoms of the disease are mild, the color of the affected area is dark pink and the affected area is white. Due to long-term scratching and friction of patients with vulvar itching, skin thickening, pigmentation, prominent skin texture, polygonal flat papules, integrated flakes, lichen lesions, plus local moisture, scratching and friction of the vulva, vulvar leukoplakia is formed.

Patients are advised to seek medical attention in time. Topical medications can be used to relieve itching. Pay attention to personal hygiene in daily life, change underwear frequently, make underwear loose and made of cotton breathable material, keep the affected area clean and dry, avoid scratching the affected area with your hands, as hand bacteria are unhygienic, avoid scratching the affected area to cause bacterial infection, eat more nutritious food, eat less spicy food, eat less cold drinks, and prohibit drinking. Avoid sitting for long periods of time, exercise, strengthen your physical fitness, maintain a good mood, actively cooperate with the doctor's treatment, and strive for a speedy recovery.
