Is yoga good for adenomyosis? Are there any other treatments?

Adenomyosis is a disease that cannot be ignored. In addition to drug treatment, there are some common treatments for most diseases. So, can adenomyosis be treated with yoga? What other treatments are there?

It is not recommended to practice yoga for adenomyosis, so as not to aggravate the condition. Yoga posture is a way of exercise to achieve harmonious unity of body and mind, including posture adjustment, breathing adjustment, mind adjustment and meditation, etc., to improve people's physical and mental abilities.

The cause of adenomyosis is still unclear. The current consensus is that the uterus lacks a submucosal layer, so the basal cells of the endometrium proliferate and invade the myometrium, accompanied by compensatory hypertrophy and hyperplasia of the surrounding myometrial cells. For patients with adenomyosis, Western medicine generally uses the following treatments:

1. Medication

For young patients who want to have children, are near menopause, and are unwilling to undergo surgical treatment, drug treatment can be considered. However, if drug treatment is ineffective or long-term severe dysmenorrhea occurs, surgical treatment should be performed.

2. Surgery

Surgical treatment includes conservative surgery and radical surgery. Conservative surgery includes adenomyosis adenomyoma resection, endometrial and myometrial resection, laparoscopic myometrial electrocoagulation, etc.

The author reminds that prevention is more important than treatment for any disease. Once you find any physical discomfort, you should pay attention to get enough rest and avoid excessive fatigue.
