How to prevent partial hydatidiform mole

How to prevent partial hydatidiform mole?

1. All patients with hydatidiform mole should be recommended for regular follow-up. It is best to contact the hospital for a long time. More importantly, they should aim to detect malignant changes early, but sometimes there may be residual vesicles and fetal masses. Patients should be advised to take effective contraceptive measures for at least 2 years. In the first six months, they should be checked once a month. If there is irregular vaginal bleeding, hemoptysis, headache or other discomfort, they should go to the hospital for examination immediately.

2. In addition to asking whether the menstruation is normal, you should also pay attention to the above symptoms. The examination should pay attention to whether the uterus has recovered well, whether there are purple-blue nodules in the vagina and vulva, and if there is breast penetration, it is best to take a photo of the chest with shadows.

3. Pregnancy test is very important in follow-up. After the hydatidiform mole is completely cleared, about 60% of the above patients will have a negative pregnancy test within 30 days, and if the pregnancy test is still positive after 40 days, malignant changes or vesicular fetal masses should be highly suspected.

4. The pregnancy test turns negative, and the follow-up test turns positive. If you are not pregnant, you should highly suspect malignant changes, such as positive primary urine, negative dilution test, and positive follow-up dilution test, especially when the dilution degree increases.
