How to tell if you have had a miscarriage

How to tell if you have had a miscarriage

Miscarriage is a common condition in early pregnancy. Signs of miscarriage can be determined by abdominal pain, vaginal discharge, vaginal bleeding, fetal growth retardation, loss of pregnancy sensation, etc. If you suspect you may have miscarriage, you should seek medical attention promptly to obtain a confirmed diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

1. Abdominal pain: In early pregnancy, if there is mild abdominal pain, it may be a normal pregnancy reaction. But if the abdominal pain intensifies or becomes severe, it may indicate the risk of miscarriage.

2. Vaginal discharge: Increased discharge, especially if it is accompanied by an odor, may be a sign of miscarriage.

3. Vaginal bleeding: A common symptom of miscarriage is vaginal bleeding, which is usually heavier than normal menstrual flow, darker in color, and may be accompanied by blood clots.

4. Fetal growth retardation: If you notice that the fetal growth rate is slowing down, or find that the fetus is poorly developed through ultrasound examination, this may be a sign of miscarriage.

5. Loss of pregnancy sensation: If you suddenly lose the sensation of pregnancy, such as disappearance of breast tenderness, decreased nausea or vomiting, etc., this may be a sign of miscarriage.

Miscarriage is a situation that needs to be taken seriously. In terms of daily precautions, avoiding participating in marathons or other high-intensity sports, reducing sexual activity, avoiding contact with harmful substances, having regular prenatal checkups, and maintaining a good attitude are all important measures to prevent miscarriage.
