If the miscarriage is caused by the pregnant woman's immune rejection of the fetus, the pregnant woman needs to undergo corresponding immunological examinations and treatment. In most cases, pregnant women with threatened miscarriage can continue their pregnancy by taking progesterone.

Do I need bed rest for threatened miscarriage?

Pregnant women with threatened miscarriage will mostly show symptoms such as abdominal pain and bleeding, so they need to rest in bed. Although there is no clear evidence that this measure can work, measures such as paying more attention and avoiding strenuous exercise can have a certain impact on the mental adjustment of pregnant women. Pregnant women who have successfully preserved their pregnancy after threatened miscarriage should pay attention to avoiding strenuous activities in their daily lives as much as possible to avoid the symptoms of miscarriage again and cause damage.

How to care for threatened miscarriage?

When pregnant women experience symptoms of threatened abortion in early pregnancy, they need to be cared for from the following aspects: 1. Avoid strenuous activities as much as possible. 2. Avoid weight-bearing exercises as much as possible to avoid increased bleeding due to increased intra-abdominal pressure. 3. When bleeding lasts for a long time, personal hygiene should be paid attention to to avoid retrograde infection of the reproductive tract, which may cause infectious abortion.

If there are suspected symptoms of threatened abortion, such as backache, abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding, the patient needs to go to the hospital in time to determine whether to preserve the fetus or abort the baby according to their own situation. No matter which measure is taken, the patient's body is relatively weak at this time, so it is necessary to pay attention to bed rest and avoid strenuous exercise.
