Chronic adnexitis etiology examination

Chronic adnexitis etiology examination

Chronic adnexitis is a common inflammatory disease of the female reproductive system. The cause is complex and requires a detailed examination to confirm the diagnosis. Common causes include infection, decreased immunity, improper surgery or postpartum care, etc. Treatments include medication, physical therapy, and lifestyle adjustments.

1. Infection is the main cause of chronic adnexitis. Bacteria, viruses or fungi spread through sexual transmission, surgical infection or inflammation of adjacent organs to cause adnexitis. Common pathogens include gonococci, chlamydia and mycoplasma. The key to preventing infection is to pay attention to personal hygiene, avoid unclean sexual behavior, and have regular gynecological examinations.

2. Decreased immunity increases the risk of disease. Long-term stress, staying up late, malnutrition and other factors weaken the immune system, making it easier for pathogens to invade. Ways to improve immunity include a balanced diet, moderate exercise and adequate sleep. It is recommended to consume more foods rich in vitamin C and zinc, such as citrus fruits and nuts.

3. Improper care after surgery or delivery may also lead to chronic adnexitis. Immunity is low after surgery or delivery. If you do not pay attention to hygiene or have sex too early, it is easy to cause infection. After surgery, you should strictly follow the instructions to keep the wound clean and avoid resuming sexual life too early.

4. Examination methods include gynecological examination, B-ultrasound, blood test and secretion test. Gynecological examination can preliminarily determine the scope and degree of inflammation, B-ultrasound helps to observe the morphological changes of the adnexal area, blood test can evaluate inflammation indicators, and secretion test can identify the type of pathogen.

5. Drug treatment is the main means of chronic adnexitis. Antibiotics such as cephalosporins, azithromycin and metronidazole are often used for anti-infection treatment. Anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen can relieve pain. Traditional Chinese medicine such as Fuyankang tablets also have auxiliary effects. Medication should be taken according to the doctor's instructions and avoid abusing antibiotics.

6. Physical therapy such as hot compress, infrared irradiation and ultrasonic therapy can promote local blood circulation and relieve inflammation. Hot compress can use hot water bottle or heat pack, infrared irradiation should be carried out in professional institutions, and ultrasonic therapy can accelerate tissue repair.

7. Lifestyle adjustment is crucial for the recovery of chronic adnexitis. Avoid sitting for long periods of time, keep the vulva clean, choose underwear with good breathability, and avoid excessive fatigue. Eat a light diet, reduce spicy and irritating foods, drink more water, and promote metabolism.

The causes of chronic adnexitis are complex and require a detailed examination to confirm the diagnosis. Treatments include medication, physical therapy, and lifestyle adjustments. Preventing infection, improving immunity, and paying attention to postoperative care are the keys to reducing the incidence. Regular gynecological examinations and timely treatment can help prevent worsening of the disease and protect women's reproductive health.
