What are the causes of cervical erosion and bleeding in women? Cervical erosion and bleeding in women are related to these factors

Cervical erosion can be physiological or physiologic. Physiologic cervical erosion is a normal physiological phenomenon that does not require treatment and will not cause bleeding. For erosive changes in the cervix, if cervical precancerous lesions, cervical cancer or chronic cervicitis occur, irregular bleeding or blood in the secretions will occur, and the amount of secretions will increase and the color will be abnormal. Therefore, it is necessary to do precancerous screening of the cervix, that is, human papillomavirus testing and cervical cytology testing. If the test results are cervicitis, anti-inflammatory treatment will be carried out. If the cervix has precancerous lesions or the human papillomavirus is positive, the next step may be to do a hysteroscopy, and the next step of treatment will be determined based on the results of the hysteroscopy.

The causes of cervical erosion and bleeding are as follows: 1. Bleeding caused by inflammation; 2. Cervical precancerous lesions; 3. Cervical cancer. If cervical erosion and bleeding occur, it is recommended to go to the hospital immediately for medical treatment, do a gynecological examination, perform cervical cytology, HPV test, colposcopy and cervical biopsy, and decide on further treatment plans based on the test results. If the test results are cervical precancerous lesions, cervical conization is recommended. If the test results are confirmed to be cervical cancer, and the clinical stage is in the early stage, surgical treatment is recommended; if the clinical stage is in the late stage of cervical cancer, radiotherapy and chemotherapy should be performed.

Bleeding from cervical erosion, at first this statement may appear a little incorrect, now the term cervical erosion is no longer mentioned, in the past the term cervical erosion may have been quite popular, causing patients' anxiety, and many patients went to irregular hospitals for excessive treatment, so now the term cervical erosion has been abolished, the so-called cervical erosion is mostly latent erosion.

In fact, it is a normal physiological phenomenon, called cervical columnar epithelial displacement. Cervical columnar epithelial displacement is not easy to bleed under normal circumstances, because it is a normal process, but some people may have cervicitis, and there may be irregular bleeding during intercourse. In addition, there are some uterine bleeding symptoms, mainly because of the possible existence of cervical cancer or precancerous lesions, a small part of which may show the main manifestations of erosion. For patients with cervical bleeding, it is recommended to go to the hospital for reliable cervical cancer screening. After cervical cancer is ruled out, there is no need to worry too much.
