Cervical erosion is the most common type of chronic cervicitis. To confirm cervical erosion, a clinical doctor needs to conduct an examination and find erosion in the corresponding area of the cervix. In addition, there should be a cervical cancer prevention examination to rule out cervical lesions before cervical erosion can be confirmed. According to the area of erosion, cervical erosion can be divided into mild, moderate and severe. If the area of cervical erosion does not exceed 1/3 of the cervical area, it is mild cervical erosion. If the area of moderate cervical erosion does not exceed 2/3 of the cervical area, it is severe cervical erosion if it exceeds 2/3 or even covers the entire cervical surface. If there are no other abnormalities in TCT and the patient is asymptomatic, no special intervention is required. If mild cervical erosion occurs, vaginal discharge increases, or bleeding occurs after intercourse, or if moderate or severe cervical erosion occurs, physical therapy intervention is recommended. Physical therapy and cervical conization can be used. The specific method must be selected under the guidance of a doctor in a regular hospital. |
