Factors that cause ectopic pregnancy

It is very important to know how to have an ectopic pregnancy, especially in some patients, the cause is very rare and difficult to treat, but any disease has its common cause, and these are the main causes of the disease. The main causes with a high incidence rate should be kept vigilant in time to avoid causing diseases as well as ectopic pregnancy.

Abnormal fallopian tubes

The fallopian tubes contain a large number of villi that are responsible for transporting the eggs secreted by the ovaries to the uterus. If these villi do not function properly, it will lead to the possibility of ectopic pregnancy. Fallopian tube surgery or congenital fallopian tube stenosis can cause these villi to malfunction.

Fallopian tube surgery

Tubal surgery can lead to ectopic pregnancy, such as conventional tubal ligation or surgery after tubal ligation, which may cause damage to the chorionic villus tissue. Therefore, patients who undergo tubal surgery for ectopic pregnancy are at increased risk of ectopic pregnancy.

Pelvic inflammatory disease

Women with pelvic inflammatory disease can also develop an ectopic pregnancy because the pelvic inflammation can cause a lot of scar tissue to accumulate in the fallopian tubes, which may block the villi and walls of the fallopian tubes.

Abnormal hormone levels

Excessive estrogen and lutein are one of the reasons for the increase in ectopic pregnancy. In the early stages of pregnancy, these hormones should be appropriately reduced to stimulate the egg to slowly pass through the fallopian tube to the uterus. If these hormones are too high, it will cause the fertilized egg to remain in the fallopian tube, leading to ectopic pregnancy.

Among them, fallopian tube abnormalities are a very important factor in ectopic pregnancy, because ectopic pregnancy is the most common ectopic pregnancy in the fallopian tube. This must be noted that the elderly are a high-risk group for ectopic pregnancy; and long-term living habits, etc., are the main causes of this disease.
