Examination for pelvic peritonitis

Examination for pelvic peritonitis

As we all know, pelvic peritonitis is a common disease. Because its occurrence brings a lot of trouble and pressure to many people's lives, we must correctly understand the occurrence of this disease and effectively prevent it. The following is a detailed introduction to the examination of pelvic peritonitis.

Pelvic peritonitis should be checked

1. Tenderness and rebound tenderness are the main signs of pelvic peritonitis and are always present. The degree of abdominal muscle tension varies depending on the cause and the patient's general condition. Abdominal percussion may produce a tympanic sound due to gastrointestinal bloating.

When there is a lot of fluid in the abdominal cavity, shifting dullness can be heard, which can also be used to locate the necessary abdominal puncture. Auscultation often finds that bowel sounds are weakened or absent.

2. Laboratory tests and X-ray examinations:

The white blood cell count in the blood routine test is elevated, but it may not be high when the condition is severe or the body's response is low. Abdominal X-ray examination shows signs of intestinal paralysis such as widespread distension of the intestinal cavity and multiple small gas and fluid levels (fluoroscopy should be performed in a standing position).

I believe everyone is familiar with pelvic peritonitis. There are many patients with pelvic peritonitis around us in our lives. Because the occurrence of this disease seriously affects our physical health, when we suffer from pelvic peritonitis, we must go to the relevant hospital for examination and treatment in time to minimize the harm.
