How to tell if you have cervical warts

Cervical warts are usually caused by sexual intercourse and contact with objects carrying the virus. Sometimes they can be transmitted from mother to child. Female genitals and perianal areas are prone to them. This disease is relatively common in life and is very harmful, causing great distress to patients. So what are the guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of cervical warts?

Cervical warts are skin diseases caused by human papillomavirus, medically known as HPV virus, invading human skin. With the progress of virology, the number of isolated HPVs has increased day by day, exceeding dozens of types, and the clinical manifestations of cervical warts vary with different HPV types.

The lesions are initially small, light red papules, which gradually increase in size and number, distributed singly or in clusters, moist and soft, with uneven surfaces, and nipple-like, cockscomb-like or cauliflower-like protrusions. They are red or dirty gray. There is often a pedicle at the root, and it is easy to erode and exude, and it is easy to bleed when touched. There is often accumulation of purulent secretions between the cracks of the lesions, causing a foul odor, and secondary infection can be caused by scratching. This disease often has no subjective symptoms, and some patients may experience foreign body sensation, pain, itching or pain during sexual intercourse. Intrarectal cervical condylomata may cause pain, blood in the stool, and a feeling of tenesmus.

The serious problem is that long-term carriers of the virus can cause cancer. About 15% of cervical warts and genital herpes, 10% of vulvar and perianal cervical warts and genital herpes can develop into malignant tumors; 9% of vulvar cancer is induced by cervical warts and genital herpes.

Before treating cervical warts, it is necessary to confirm the degree of virus damage in cervical warts, identify the specific type of virus, and store all the information of the virus, and then accurately induce and kill it after the treatment starts. At the same time, according to the characteristics and physiology of the virus, vaccination treatment is carried out under the operation of gene-induced autoimmunity, and direct photodynamic therapy is given to those with special conditions, so as to ensure the treatment effect in an all-round and multi-level manner.
