What are the key points in diagnosing cervical warts?

Everyone has heard of cervical warts, but what are cervical warts? What are the symptoms of cervical warts? Many people may not know this. If we understand cervical warts, know their causes and symptoms, we can detect the disease in advance, which is very important for subsequent treatment. However, we are not professional medical personnel. Our judgment knowledge is preliminary and we cannot make a diagnosis. We still need to go to a regular hospital for professional diagnosis.

Here I will tell you how to diagnose this disease;

1. Cytological examination: Take the condyloma tissue from the vagina, cervix and other parts to make a smear and do Papanicolaou staining. Two types of cells can be seen in the smear. One type of cell has a halo around the nucleus, which occupies most of the cytoplasm and compresses the cytoplasm to the edge to form a concentrated state; the other type of cell is called dyskeratotic cells, which can be distributed singly or in piles, with orange-red to light yellow cytoplasm and small and dense nuclei.

2. Histopathology: The main changes are parakeratosis, hypertrophy of the stratum spinosum, and papilloma-like hyperplasia. There are obvious vacuoles in the cells of the granular layer and the upper part of the stratum spinosum. There are a considerable number of nuclear divisions in the basal cells of the spinous cells, and the boundary between the hyperplastic epithelium and the dermis is clear.

3. Histochemical examination: Take a small amount of lesion tissue to make a smear and stain it with specific anti-human papillomavirus antibodies. If there are viral antigens in the lesions, the antigens and antibodies will bind, and the nuclei can be stained red in the peroxidase antiperoxidase (PAP) method.

The above has introduced how to correctly diagnose cervical warts. We should always pay attention to the occurrence of such symptoms in our daily lives. Once found, we should go to a professional hospital for a correct diagnosis so that we can get a timely diagnosis and timely treatment. If we want to avoid the harm of cervical warts, we need to do a good job of personal hygiene in our lives and keep ourselves clean. I hope the above can help you.
