Bacterial vaginosis may be caused by other diseases

Normal people may have bacteria in their vagina, and they generally will not develop diseases under normal immunity or vaginal environment. However, when there are certain predisposing factors, such as changes in local vaginal microecology, use of broad-spectrum antibiotics, decreased immunity or use of hormones, it is easy to develop. The main causes are:

1. High temperature and high humidity:

High temperature and high humidity environment easily breeds bacteria. In addition, the sun has not been out for many days in a row, the clothes cannot be fully dried, the air humidity is high, and the clothes are prone to mold. After wearing underwear that breeds various germs, the vulva may be infected, and humid weather will accelerate the reproduction of bacteria and viruses, causing bacterial vaginitis.

2. Bad living habits:

Beautiful synthetic underwear and airtight tights can easily make the vulva damp and hot, airtight, and cause inflammation. In addition, frequent vaginal douching can cause the acid-base balance in the vaginal environment to be unbalanced, destroying the mechanism of mutual restraint between vaginal flora, and can also lead to bacterial growth and reproduction.

3. Bad eating habits:

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that bacterial vaginosis is caused by damp heat in the lower body, so spicy food is taboo and high-sugar foods should be eaten less. Diabetic patients are especially more likely to suffer from bacterial vaginosis and must be especially careful.

4. Extensive use of antibiotics:

While killing harmful bacteria, it can also kill beneficial bacteria, leading to an imbalance of vaginal flora, changing the mutual inhibition between them, and allowing bacteria to multiply in large numbers. The use of immunosuppressants reduces the body's immunity, making it easy to get infected with bacteria and induce vaginitis.

5. Pregnancy:

During pregnancy, the glycogen content of vaginal epithelial cells increases, the vaginal acidity increases, and the renal glucose threshold of pregnant women decreases, resulting in nutritional diabetes mellitus. The increased sugar content in urine promotes the growth and reproduction of Candida albicans.

6. Others:

Vitamin deficiency (vitamin B complex), severe infectious diseases and other wasting diseases can all be favorable conditions for the reproduction of Candida albicans.
