What are the causes of menopause in women?

In life, some postmenopausal women will experience vaginal bleeding. This phenomenon is relatively rare. Is it possible that the uterus will bleed after menopause? Gynecological experts explain that, in fact, postmenopausal bleeding is not terrible, but we cannot ignore its existence, because bleeding may be caused by other gynecological diseases, so you should get a diagnosis after this phenomenon occurs to prevent future troubles.

As the time of menopause increases, the level of sex hormones in women decreases, the endometrium gradually shrinks, and the vaginal mucosa also shrinks. The shrinkage of the endometrium and vaginal mucosa reduces local resistance and makes it easy to be invaded by pathogenic microorganisms such as bacteria and chlamydia, leading to endometritis, cervicitis and vaginitis.

On the basis of inflammation, superficial capillaries are easily damaged, and a few may form superficial ulcers, thus causing postmenopausal bleeding.

The follicle maturation hormone in postmenopausal women is high, which stimulates the interstitial cells in the ovaries to secrete estrogen, which has a cumulative stimulating effect on the endometrium, leading to varying degrees of hyperplasia of the endometrium and cervix, and even the formation of polyps.

However, the secretion of this hormone is unstable and fluctuates greatly. Therefore, when the hormone secretion level drops, the endometrial hyperplasia will suddenly stop and shedding bleeding will occur, forming dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
