What symptoms do women experience during menopause?

Most female friends will easily enter menopause after the age of 45. During this period, female friends will often experience menopause. Especially for women with weaker physical constitutions, this situation will occur earlier, so female friends will age faster. If you want to keep yourself young for a long time, you must understand the characteristics of menopause in advance.

1. Flushing and hot flashes:

The patient often feels a surge of heat spreading from the chest to the neck and face, and at the same time, the skin in the above-mentioned areas becomes diffusely or flaky red, accompanied by sweating, followed by chills. Usually, the redness and hot flashes occur at the same time. The frequency, severity and duration of the attacks vary greatly from person to person. They often occur when waking up in the early morning, at dusk or at night, when moving, eating or dressing, when covering too much with blankets, and when emotionally excited.

2. Cardiovascular symptoms:

Patients experience pseudo-angina, sometimes accompanied by palpitations, chest tightness, etc.

3. Breast changes:

Under normal circumstances, the breasts gradually shrink due to lack of estrogen stimulation after a period of menopause. The glands gradually degenerate and are replaced by fat tissue, which manifests as smaller breast volume, sagging, increased skin wrinkles, etc. In addition, breast lumps caused by existing benign breast lesions may also shrink to varying degrees with the atrophy of normal glands, and symptoms such as periodic breast pain will also disappear.

4. Menstrual disorders:

The earliest clinical symptoms of perimenopause are menstrual changes, which may include frequent menstruation, scanty menstruation, irregular uterine bleeding, and sudden amenorrhea after regular menstruation.

5. Mental and neurological symptoms:

The main manifestations are irritability, temper, depression, tension, insomnia, memory loss, cognitive dysfunction, inattention, anxiety, suspicion, excessive self-esteem or inferiority, and even suicide in severe cases.
