Diagnostic methods for pelvic effusion

Diagnostic methods for pelvic effusion

Every woman should take good care of her pelvic cavity. Nowadays, about 30% of women suffer from pelvic effusion. So, how to diagnose pelvic effusion? Let us learn about it through the following content.

The diagnosis of pelvic effusion is as follows:

1. Pelvic heaviness: The main symptom of pelvic heaviness is increased vaginal discharge. Due to different pathogens, the color and amount of vaginal discharge are also different. The vaginal discharge may be viscous or amine, sometimes with blood or a small amount of blood, or contact bleeding. It may also manifest as sudden onset of severe pelvic pain. A pelvic mass indicates a serious, potential lesion. An incarcerated uterus can cause acute pelvic pain in early pregnancy, and is often accompanied by a retroverted uterus and pelvic adhesions. The acute growth or degeneration of uterine fibroids can also cause acute pain.

2. Pelvic abscess: Pelvic abscess is mostly caused by acute pelvic connective tissue inflammation that has not been treated in time. Pulmonary abscess forms, which can be confined to one or both sides of the uterus, and pus flows into the deep pelvic cavity.

3. Pelvic congestion: Pelvic congestion syndrome (also known as pelvic congestion syndrome) is a special disease caused by chronic pelvic venous congestion and is one of the main causes of chronic pelvic pain in gynecology. It is more common in women aged 30-50 years old who have given birth. There is no such name in traditional Chinese medicine. According to its clinical manifestations and signs, it can be classified into the categories of abdominal pain, dysmenorrhea, leucorrhea, etc. The pathogenesis is mainly blood stasis and obstruction of blood vessels.
