Patients with different types of dysmenorrhea can choose different medicinal porridge and diet therapy

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the cause of dysmenorrhea is related to blood and qi deficiency, liver and kidney deficiency, cold stagnation, qi stagnation and blood stasis. The so-called menstruation is stagnant and not smooth, and if it is not smooth, it will cause pain. When differentiating and treating symptoms, patients with different types of dysmenorrhea can choose corresponding medicinal porridge to regulate qi and blood and relieve pain.

1. Blood stasis type

Patients with blood stasis type dysmenorrhea can choose Motherwort, Angelica and Egg Porridge, the ingredients of which are 30 grams of Motherwort, 15 grams of Angelica, 3 eggs and 30 grams of polished rice.

Preparation method: First, add water to motherwort and angelica and boil repeatedly for 2 times. After boiling for 20 minutes each time, combine the filtrate and remove the residue. Mix the filtrate with polished rice and eggs and cook together. It can be taken after the polished rice is cooked.

Efficacy: Yimu, Angelica and Egg Porridge has good effects of promoting blood circulation and qi, removing blood stasis and relieving pain. It can effectively improve the symptoms of dark purple menstrual blood or blood clots, and help the smooth discharge of menstrual blood. After the menstrual blood is discharged, the patient's pain symptoms will be significantly relieved.

2. Cold condensation type

Patients with cold-stagnation type dysmenorrhea can choose ginger, jujube and brown sugar porridge, the ingredients of which include 10 grams of dried ginger, 20 jujubes, 30 grams of brown sugar and 30 grams of polished rice.

Method: First, boil the dried ginger with water for 30 minutes, then take the juice and cook it with jujube and glutinous rice. After the glutinous rice is cooked, add brown sugar and take it while it is hot.

Efficacy: Ginger, jujube and brown sugar porridge has a good effect of warming the uterus and dispersing cold. After taking it, the symptoms of lower abdominal pain and coldness, as well as less and dark menstrual blood can be significantly alleviated.
