Clinical manifestations of three types of vaginitis symptoms

For married women, vaginitis must have been encountered. The symptoms of vaginitis are also the most common among gynecological inflammations. Our gynecological experts have also gained a deeper understanding of the symptoms of different types of vaginitis during years of clinical treatment.

1. Candidal vaginitis

Symptoms of vaginitis include increased vaginal discharge, ranging from watery to curd-like vaginal discharge. Typical vaginal discharge of candidal vaginitis is curd-like or lumpy, which are clinical symptoms of vaginitis. In addition, patients will have varying degrees of itching. If the symptoms spread to the urethra, patients will also experience symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, and pain. In severe cases, complications such as ulcers, swelling and adhesion of the labia minora may occur.

2. Trichomonas vaginitis

Trichomonas vaginitis is caused by vaginal Trichomonas. The symptoms of this type of vaginitis are increased leucorrhea, abnormal color and texture of leucorrhea, which is thin and serous, grayish yellow or yellow-green. Some patients will have a small amount of blood in their leucorrhea, and about 20% of patients will have foamy leucorrhea. It is also common to have symptoms of vulvar itching, burning, and pain during sexual intercourse. Common symptoms of trichomoniasis vaginitis include secondary bacterial infection.

3. Bacterial vaginosis

Clinically, about 50% of bacterial vaginitis patients do not have obvious symptoms of vaginitis. If symptoms occur, they are mostly grayish white leucorrhea with a fishy odor. Patients may also feel a burning sensation in the vagina, and some patients may also have itching symptoms. Common complications of bacterial vaginitis include cervicitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, Trichomonas vaginitis, etc.

The above is an introduction to the three most common symptoms of vaginitis. I hope it will help you understand vaginitis. Although the symptoms of vaginitis are common, if you don’t pay attention to treatment, it is easy to spread and cause other gynecological diseases, and even serious lesions leading to cancer, etc., so you should pay more attention to it.
