Causes of dysfunctional uterine bleeding

Causes of dysfunctional uterine bleeding

The incidence of some diseases in women is increasing day by day. Due to the influence of many factors such as high mental stress, huge social pressure, lack of attention to healthy diet, tired family life, complex interpersonal relationships, etc., women's menstruation has various physiological symptoms and manifestations. Among them, functional uterine bleeding (abbreviated as DUB) is one of the more common and frequently occurring diseases among women in today's society.

So what are the causes of functional uterine bleeding in women? There are mainly the following 4 points. Let us all study them carefully together.

1. Systemic factors: such as adverse mental trauma, stimulation, malnutrition, endocrine and metabolic disorders, etc.

2. Dysfunction of the hypothalamus-pituitary-ovarian axis: including disorders of the rhythm of reproductive hormone release, feedback dysfunction, ovulation and corpus luteum dysfunction.

3. Uterine and endometrial factors: including abnormalities in the structure and function of spiral arterioles and microcirculatory vascular beds, dysfunction of endometrial steroid receptors and lysosomes, and abnormal local coagulation mechanisms.

4. Iatrogenic factors: including contraceptives and intrauterine devices that interfere with the normal function of the reproductive neuroendocrine axis. Certain drugs for treating systemic diseases can affect normal menstrual function through the neuroendocrine axis.
