Uterine fibroids may cause menstrual disorders

Uterine fibroids are one of the diseases that women are familiar with. Do you know how harmful uterine fibroids are? Uterine fibroids are likely to cause menstrual disorders, and severe cases can even cause infertility. Therefore, uterine fibroids are a disease that needs to be treated and recovered as soon as possible.

Having a tumor on the body is a scary thing after all, and some people will try to find medicine to take. But taking medicine is only a short-term behavior, and most of them are used to prepare for surgery. Therefore, there are only two ways to deal with uterine fibroids - surgery or conservative treatment.

Many people may think that large ones need to be treated, but small ones don’t. In fact, the location is the key factor. According to the location of the fibroids, they can be divided into three categories: intramural fibroids, subserosal fibroids, and submucosal fibroids. For example, the first two types are mostly asymptomatic and generally do not require treatment. Especially for those who are close to menopause, due to the low estrogen level after menopause, the fibroids will naturally shrink or disappear, and only regular check-ups are needed. However, if the reexamination finds that the fibroids are enlarged or the symptoms are obvious, further treatment should be considered.

Although the harm of uterine fibroids can also cause menstrual disorders, menstrual disorders are not necessarily caused by uterine fibroids. Generally, pregnancy, external pressure, weather changes, other gynecological inflammation and other factors can cause menstrual disorders. However, if menstruation is irregular, there must be something wrong with the body. At this time, a systematic examination should be done to determine the cause of the irregular menstruation and take necessary measures to deal with it.

Through the above, we not only understand that the harm of uterine fibroids also includes the possibility of causing menstrual disorders, but also tell us not to identify a disease based on a symptom. The symptoms of some diseases are similar in some aspects, so it is more sensible to go to the hospital to ask a doctor.
