Ovarian tumors also often occur in teenage girls

Do you know who are the most susceptible to ovarian cysts? In fact, there is another large group of people around us who are also the main victims of ovarian cysts. Therefore, it is very important to pay more attention to the victims of ovarian cysts. Next, we will introduce another group of people who are most susceptible to ovarian cysts - girls and young girls.

In fact, ovarian cysts are more common in girls and teenage girls. Reproductive tract tumors are relatively rare in girls and teenage girls, but ovarian tumors are the most common. The more common ovarian tumors are as follows:

(1) Tumor-like lesions: It is a common cause of ovarian enlargement in adolescents, with an incidence rate of 35.9%. Half of them are follicular cysts, and the rest are corpus luteum cysts and ovarian crown cysts. Those caused by endocrine disorders generally do not require treatment and can disappear on their own, so this also makes girls and young girls the incidence of ovarian cysts, but this disease is not very serious and does not require our attention or treatment.

(2) Ovarian tumors: Germ cell tumors are the most common ovarian tumors in girls and adolescent girls, accounting for about 60%, and most of them occur within 1 year of age and in adolescence. They are considered to be related to the activity of maternal hormones and endocrine secretion at menarche. For example, immature teratomas, dysgerminomas, endodermal sinus tumors, embryonic carcinomas, primary choriocarcinomas, etc. are almost all malignant tumors; ovarian epithelial tumors are less common in children and adolescent girls than in adults; among ovarian sex cord stromal tumors, they are rare before menarche, but granulosa cell tumors and theca cell tumors are relatively common; although gonoblastomas are rare, they often occur before the age of 20. People with this type of ovarian cyst should receive treatment as soon as possible. Because this tumor is congenital, if it is not treated in time, there will be sequelae, so it must be prevented by everyone.

How do these special ovarian cyst patients find out that they have this disease? Married women can have gynecological examinations, but this group of ovarian cyst patients do not have a very systematic examination method. Unless their parents find out and take them to the hospital for treatment, the delay in the middle will seem very long, and the best treatment time will be missed. Therefore, minors should also undergo physical examinations to prevent the harm of invisible diseases to them.
