Can unmarried people get ovarian cysts? How to treat them?

Due to the lack of understanding of many things in medicine, many people have always had some misunderstandings about certain diseases, such as some gynecological diseases, and many people think that this is due to sexual life after marriage. Someone once asked whether unmarried people will have ovarian cysts? How to treat it?

Unmarried people can also have ovarian cysts, because this disease has little to do with marriage. Ovarian tumors can occur at any age, mostly in the reproductive years. Benign ovarian tumors mostly occur between 20 and 44, and malignant ovarian tumors occur between 40 and 50. Ovarian tumors can also occur in adolescence or children, and are usually malignant. Tumors in the late menopause are mostly malignant.

Ovarian tumor is one of the common gynecological diseases. Its types are ranked first among all organ tumors in the body. The incidence of gynecological diseases is 13-23.9%, of which malignant tumors account for about 10%. Because the egg tumor is located in the pelvic cavity, there are no symptoms in the early stage, and the malignant tumor spreads rapidly. More than 70% of patients are in the late stage when they seek medical treatment. According to domestic and foreign reports, the five-year survival rate of ovarian cancer is only about 30%, and the mortality rate ranks first among gynecological malignant tumors.

Treatments for ovarian cysts include surgery, medication, and traditional Chinese medicine. Ovarian cysts have no obvious clinical manifestations in the early stages, and patients often discover other diseases during gynecological examinations. As the tumor grows, patients will experience symptoms and signs depending on the nature, size, development, secondary degeneration, or complications of the tumor.

Ovarian cysts can affect the ovulatory function of the ovaries, leading to ovulatory infertility, early miscarriage, etc. Ovarian cysts are manifested as less abdominal distension and pain, with contact lumps, accompanied by increased, yellow, dirty, more or less menstrual flow, and severe abdominal pain in severe cases.
