Traditional Chinese medicine can treat abnormal leucorrhea

Abnormal vaginal discharge can be improved through TCM conditioning. Common causes include damp-heat, spleen deficiency and dampness, kidney deficiency, etc. TCM treatment is mainly based on syndrome differentiation and treatment, combined with Chinese medicine, acupuncture, diet conditioning and other methods to help restore the body's balance.

1. Dampness and heat

Damp-heat is one of the common causes of abnormal leucorrhea, which is characterized by a large amount of leucorrhea, yellow color, sticky texture, accompanied by odor or vulvar itching. According to traditional Chinese medicine, damp-heat is often related to improper diet and exogenous damp-heat evil spirits. Treatment is mainly based on clearing heat and removing dampness, and commonly used Chinese medicines such as Phellodendron, Atractylodes, and Poria. Acupuncture can choose acupoints such as Sanyinjiao and Yinlingquan to help remove dampness and clear heat. In terms of diet, spicy and greasy foods should be avoided, and more foods such as winter melon and coix seed that clear heat and remove dampness should be eaten.

2. Spleen deficiency and dampness

Spleen deficiency and dampness will lead to excessive leucorrhea, white color, thin texture, accompanied by symptoms such as fatigue and loss of appetite. According to traditional Chinese medicine, the spleen is responsible for transporting and transforming water and dampness, and spleen deficiency will cause endogenous dampness. The treatment is mainly to strengthen the spleen and remove dampness, and commonly used Chinese medicines such as Atractylodes macrocephala, Chinese yam, Codonopsis pilosula, etc. Acupuncture can choose acupoints such as Zusanli and Pishu to enhance the function of the spleen and stomach. In terms of diet, you should eat more spleen-strengthening foods, such as millet, pumpkin, red dates, etc., and avoid raw, cold and cool foods.

3. Kidney deficiency

Abnormal leucorrhea caused by kidney deficiency is often manifested as thin and heavy leucorrhea, accompanied by soreness of waist and knees, chills and other symptoms. According to traditional Chinese medicine, the kidney governs water, and kidney deficiency will result in water and dampness not being transformed. Treatment is mainly based on tonifying the kidney and consolidating the body, and commonly used Chinese medicines such as Rehmannia glutinosa, Cornus officinalis, and Cuscuta australis are used. Acupuncture can select acupoints such as Shenshu and Guanyuan to warm and tonify the kidney yang. In terms of diet, you can eat more kidney-tonifying foods such as black sesame, walnuts, and wolfberries, and avoid excessive fatigue.

Traditional Chinese medicine focuses on overall conditioning in the treatment of abnormal leucorrhea, and helps restore the body's balance through a variety of methods such as Chinese medicine, acupuncture, and diet. If symptoms persist or worsen, it is recommended to seek medical attention in a timely manner, combined with Western medical examinations to clarify the cause and avoid delaying the condition.
