Hydatidiform mole can be detected through B-ultrasound examination, and the examination results usually show abnormal uterine morphology or characteristic "bunch of grapes"-like images, but the diagnosis requires combination of other examination results.

Hydatidiform mole is a pregnancy-related disease, belonging to trophoblastic cell lesions, which are usually divided into complete hydatidiform mole and partial hydatidiform mole. Its cause is not yet fully understood, but it is related to abnormal fertilization process and chromosomal mutation. Although this disease is not common, it has a great impact on women's health. If it is not treated in time, it may develop into invasive hydatidiform mole or even malignant trophoblastic tumor.

In B-ultrasound examination, the typical feature of complete hydatidiform mole is that there is no embryonic structure in the uterus, only a large number of disordered vesicular structures, shaped like a bunch of grapes. Partial hydatidiform mole may be accompanied by embryonic development, but a small number of vesicular lesions will also be seen. In addition to B-ultrasound, early hydatidiform mole can also be screened out through abnormally elevated human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in the blood, but the diagnosis often requires further verification by pathological examination.

If the ultrasound results indicate the possibility of hydatidiform mole, or if there are abnormal pregnancy symptoms, such as repeated severe vomiting during pregnancy, irregular vaginal bleeding, you must seek medical attention as soon as possible, and have a professional doctor evaluate the condition and guide the treatment. Early diagnosis and treatment are key, and usually require curettage and regular follow-up according to the postoperative situation to ensure that the hCG level returns to normal and stable.
