What are the symptoms of cervical cyst in early pregnancy?

Cervical nabothian cysts, also known as cervical glandular cysts, are manifestations of chronic cervicitis, just like cervical polyps. Generally speaking, cervical nabothian cysts are very harmful to pregnant women. The cause of their formation is similar to "acne" on the face. During the healing process of cervical erosion, new squamous epithelium covers the opening of the cervical glandular duct or extends into the glandular duct, blocking the opening of the glandular duct. The connective tissue hyperplasia or scar formation around the glandular duct compresses the glandular duct, narrowing or even blocking the glandular duct, blocking the drainage of glandular secretions, and blocking the cyst formed by retention.

There are two symptoms of cervical cysts:

1. The fundus or posterior wall of the uterus is bulging, with local cystic sensation, which can be divided into three types: subserosal, muscular wall and submucosal. If the submucosal cyst sometimes protrudes through the cervix, pathological examination shows that the wall of the cyst from the mesonephric duct is mainly composed of columnar or stratified squamous epithelium, and the wall of the cyst from the paramesonephric duct is mainly composed of ciliated columnar epithelium.

2. The symptoms of congenital cervical Nabothian cyst are not obvious, and sometimes a lump can be felt in the lower abdomen. The cervical glands have secretory functions and can secrete mucus, which can also be discharged through the glandular openings. They participate in the formation of some "leucorrhea" and also in the healing process of cervical erosion. If the new squamous epithelium covers the cervical gland openings or extends into the glandular ducts, it will cause blockage of the glandular duct openings.

The hazards of cervical cyst in pregnant women:

1. Affect the development of the fetus. If some women find themselves infected with Nabothian cysts after pregnancy, they should pay special attention, because the pathogenic bacteria of Nabothian cysts may penetrate the uterus and have an adverse effect on the development of the fetus. There may be risks such as miscarriage and premature birth.

2. Cause miscarriage. If a pregnant woman suffers from this disease, she should pay attention to timely treatment, because Nabothian cysts will affect the normal development of the fetus. This is mainly because the pathogenic bacteria of the disease will penetrate the uterus, affect the normal development of the fetus, and also cause miscarriage. After a pregnant woman suffers from this disease, she should go to the hospital for treatment in time.
