Ovulation test paper will show weak positive before menstruation

Since people have little knowledge of testing, this will cause some confusion in their minds, and to a certain extent, it will also affect people's family plans. So will the ovulation test paper before menstruation be weak positive?

Normally, it will show a weak positive result. Generally speaking, women will release an egg every month, which is between two menstrual periods. Due to ovulation, the luteinizing hormone LH in human urine will increase. The ovulation test paper determines whether ovulation has occurred by measuring LH.

Before a woman ovulates, her body will begin to secrete LH, but the LH value will only reach its highest level on the day of ovulation. Therefore, measuring the highest LH value can determine when the actual ovulation day is. When ovulation is confirmed, if AA occurs within 24 hours, the possibility of pregnancy is very high. The egg can generally survive 1 to 2 days in the human body, while the sperm can survive 2 to 3 days, so finding a strong positive is the most critical.

The reference line of the ovulation test paper itself cannot be used as a judgment standard. In real life, we may observe a weak positive that is lighter than the reference color, which does not necessarily mean that you have not ovulated. We may also observe a strong positive that is darker than the reference color, but this does not mean that you must be ovulating at this time, because the color of the ovulation reference line is a fixed value, and everyone's LH secretion is not the same. Some people have less, so they will only see a weak positive, but in fact they are ovulating. Some people have more secretion, so they will always show a strong positive, but in fact they have not ovulated. Therefore, to accurately find the ovulation day, you should do a series of tests.

And, generally speaking, if women do their own pregnancy tests at home, without any outside guidance, the test results are generally only 51% to 76% accurate.
