Exercise has been proven to reduce psychological burden ~ Remember these 4 principles to get rid of depression

The results of a cross-sectional study of more than one million people were published in The Lancet Psychiatry, which showed that "exercise can help reduce psychological burden." Although excessive exercise does not necessarily help to have a better mental state, researchers have found that ✨exercise 3-5 times a week, 45 minutes each time✨, is best for improving mental state.

Overall, the results showed that people who exercised had 1.49 fewer days of poor mental health per month than those who didn't exercise.

All types of exercise can effectively reduce psychological burden, reducing the time of poor mental state by at least 11.8% and at most 22.3%.

The researchers found that the most effective were team sports (reduced by 22.3%), outdoor cycling (reduced by 21.6%), and aerobic and gym training (reduced by 20.1%). The optimal exercise frequency is 3-5 times a week, 45 minutes each time.

Another interesting finding from the study is that even doing housework can reduce the time spent in a bad mental state by 0.4 days per month.
