Just a small change in diet can make you look slimmer immediately

When many people think of weight loss methods, they think of strict calorie control, increased exercise time, etc. But in fact, many people overlook a little secret that can help them lose weight in a short period of time and feel the effects clearly.

The secret is: eat whole foods as much as possible and eat less processed foods.

What? So simple? How is that possible?

So-called whole food refers to food that you can tell what it originally looks like. These things do not need to be labeled with "ingredients", such as vegetables, chicken breast, nuts, eggs, etc.

So-called processed food is food that you can hardly tell what it originally looked like. These things usually have a dense list of "ingredients" marked on the packaging, such as almond cookies (the shape of the raw materials such as almonds and wheat used to make flour can no longer be seen), potato chips, cola, toast, candy, cake, and chocolate bars.

When you go to the supermarket, "food" is usually placed near the entrance. As you walk in, you will see more "processed food" on the shelves further inside.

Eating the same amount of calories can lead to different results

You might be thinking, I just need to control my calorie intake, and what I eat doesn't matter. This is a big misunderstanding. Raw foods differ from processed foods in several ways:

  1. With the same calories, prototype foods are usually larger in volume and more filling. After eating, you won’t feel hungry so quickly. If you want to lose weight, you can form a virtuous cycle.

  2. Meals based on prototype foods usually contain more protein, which can help repair human tissues and grow muscles. The high protein ratio also makes it easier to feel full.

  3. Meals that are mainly composed of whole foods usually contain more fiber, which is an important component for maintaining intestinal function. In addition to increasing the feeling of fullness, it also determines whether bowel movements are smooth or not.

  4. Prototype foods contain more nutrients, such as various vitamins, minerals, etc. No matter how many food additives are added, the nutrition is not as comprehensive and complete as that created by nature.

In contrast, processed foods are usually higher in calories and although they can satisfy your cravings immediately, they do not last long. Food additives are a huge burden to the human body. Many foods are filled with large amounts of sugar, artificial colors, preservatives, and other chemical ingredients.

How to change?

It takes a lot of determination and perseverance to immediately decide to completely stop eating processed foods, and it is very difficult to do so in today's environment. Perhaps you could try a step-by-step approach:

  1. Every time before you choose food to eat, consciously identify whether it is "original food" or "processed food".

  2. If you eat mostly processed foods for your meals, try to start adding prototype foods so that they make up a certain percentage.

  3. Gradually, you need to eat one, two, three times as much raw food as processed food every day...

  4. When shopping in a supermarket, only go to the fresh food section and try not to go to the processed food aisles.

Always remember that every time you eat, you are choosing to harm your body or promote your health.
