90% of women fail to lose weight due to 4 bad habits

An online survey found that 90% of women in Taiwan have experienced failed weight loss attempts. In view of this, experts have proposed the four principles of "blocking, eating, smoothing, and metabolizing". As long as you grasp the "blocking before meals, cutting sugar after meals, smoothing every day, and metabolizing at night", losing weight no longer requires deliberately changing your lifestyle habits or dietary preferences, and healthy weight loss will no longer be difficult.

Professor Liu Fangzhen, president of the Obesity Research Society of the Republic of China, pointed out that weight loss is always a hot topic. The main reason why women fail to lose weight, in addition to lifestyle or dietary preferences, is the "four bad habits of weight management", including high intake of fat, high sugar, low fiber, and low metabolism.

A questionnaire survey of 1,252 online women found that more than 90% had experienced failed weight loss attempts. Among them, the proportion of people who failed to lose weight due to their love of fried foods is as high as 43%. As many as 56% of women clearly understand that the reason for their failure in weight loss is that they simply don’t like to exercise.

President Liu Fangzhen said that women are generally more aware of healthy weight loss than men, but they are clearly lacking in personal weight management, which needs to be strengthened. For example, when it comes to high-fat intake, women tend to eat fried foods, have late-night snacks, and have more social gatherings. Therefore, it is recommended that people with the bad habit of "high fat" should reduce the frequency of high fat intake. It is recommended to drink more water before meals to increase gastrointestinal motility and satiety, and reduce the chance of high fat intake.

Regarding the "high sugar content", never adopt a single food fasting method or avoid carbohydrates. In the long run, it may interfere with hormone secretion or cause binge eating disorder and depression. From the perspective of nutritional supplements, people should instead consume healthy, complex, high-quality starches, such as whole grains and root vegetables, and reduce sugar intake after meals to reduce its conversion into calories and increase the chance of obesity.

In the "low fiber" section, President Liu Fangzhen reminded that a healthy human body needs to defecate at least 1 to 2 times a day. For women with "low fiber" problems, in addition to strengthening abdominal massage and drinking more water, they should not miss the urge to defecate. For women with constipation problems, they should not habitually rely on enema, as it will not only destroy rectal mucus, but may also increase the risk of rectal cancer. Eating five kinds of fruits and vegetables every day can effectively prevent constipation.

In addition, in the "low metabolism" part, many women often have slow metabolism due to irregular meals, lack of exercise, and lack of sleep. Therefore, it is recommended that women develop good living habits, reduce staying up late, and exercise more, 3 times a week, 30 minutes each time, which can increase metabolic function and keep obesity away completely.
