Physical therapy for cervical erosion

Physical therapy for cervical erosion:

Cervical erosion clinically refers to cervical columnar epithelial ectopia. Cervical columnar epithelial ectopia generally does not require treatment. If a patient has cervical columnar epithelial ectopia accompanied by increased vaginal discharge, vulvar discomfort and other symptoms, it can generally be treated with physical treatments such as infrared, laser, and freezing.

1. Infrared:

When a patient has cervical columnar epithelium ectopia, the eroded area is irradiated with infrared light, causing the local eroded tissue to suffer third-degree burns at high temperature. This can effectively cause the wound to scab and fall off, and can also form fresh tissue locally, thus achieving the purpose of treating the disease.

2. Laser:

Symptoms of cervical columnar epithelial ectopy are to disinfect the vagina locally before laser treatment. Use a laser treatment device to clean the cervical secretions from the outside to the inside, starting from the outer circle of the eroded surface, and can also play a role in thermal coagulation and hemostasis.

3. Freezing:

Through cryotherapy, the cryoprobe can directly contact the diseased tissue on the surface of the cervix. After contact, the local tissue is cooled, the eroded tissue necrotizes and falls off, and new squamous epithelium covers the cervix, allowing the local cervix to return to normal.

In addition to the common physical therapy methods mentioned above, microwave physical therapy can also be used. If the body has other discomfort symptoms during the treatment, you should go to the hospital for treatment in time.
