Why does cervical erosion cause infertility in women? What are the conservative treatments for cervical erosion in women?

Gynecological diseases seriously threaten women's health and life. Cervical erosion is a common gynecological disease in women, which seriously troubles female friends. Cervical erosion is also a manifestation of chronic cervicitis. Many women are very worried that cervical erosion will lead to infertility. Women always feel helpless about infertility. So, what are the reasons for female infertility caused by cervical erosion?

Four major causes of infertility caused by cervical erosion

(1) Due to long-term stimulation of inflammation, the bacteria and toxins that cause cervical erosion affect the survival of sperm, especially Escherichia coli, which can cause sperm to have a strong agglutination effect, thus causing the sperm to lose its vitality.

(2) When suffering from cervical erosion, the cervical secretions contain a large number of white blood cells. White blood cells have phagocytic function and will engulf sperm.

(3) Generally speaking, sperm are not suitable for living in an inflammatory environment because the inflammatory environment will affect the environment in which sperm exist, thereby reducing the motility of sperm.

(4) When suffering from cervical erosion, the patient's cervical secretions are more than normal and are more sticky, making it difficult for sperm to pass through, thus affecting sperm motility and hindering sperm from entering the uterine cavity, thereby reducing the chance of conception.

Conservative treatment of cervical erosion

The first is drug treatment. It is suitable for cases with small and shallow erosion. In recent years, Qingfei Shuli antibacterial gel has been used to be placed deep in the vagina. The gel texture is fast to absorb, and it can strongly absorb toxins in the vagina and excrete them together with secretions, thus achieving the purpose of treatment.

The second is physical therapy. It is safe, efficient, simple and painless. The principle of the treatment is to use various physical methods to make the eroded surface necrotize and fall off, and then be covered by new squamous epithelium. In the past, electric ironing was commonly used. In recent years, this method has been replaced by freezing, laser, microwave, Bohm light, and infrared condensation.

These two conservative treatment methods can cause the columnar epithelium on the surface of cervical erosion to necrotize and fall off, creating conditions for the new squamous epithelium to cover and grow, thereby avoiding secondary damage to the female patient's body and helping to restore body functions in a timely and effective manner. Therefore, when female friends find themselves suffering from cervical erosion, they must pay attention to it. Choosing conservative treatment before the condition worsens can effectively cure cervical erosion.
