What are the symptoms of uterine fibroids? What should I do if I have uterine fibroids?

Uterine fibroids are very harmful to patients. As the patient's condition progresses, changing the disease will have a great impact on the patient. So, do you know the manifestations of uterine fibroids? How are uterine fibroids? Uterine fibroids are the most common benign tumors in the female reproductive system. They are common in women of childbearing age between 30 and 50 years old, and are closely related to excessive levels of estrogen in women. The symptoms of uterine fibroids are mainly irregular menstruation, lower abdominal lumps, increased leucorrhea, compression symptoms, back pain, etc. If these symptoms are found, attention should be paid to avoid aggravating the condition and affecting the treatment effect.

In addition, the treatments for uterine fibroids are as follows:

1. Anticipatory treatment: Regular follow-up observation is suitable for most patients with fibroids, uterus less than 10 weeks of pregnancy, asymptomatic uterine fibroids, especially near-menopausal women, as fibroids are expected to shrink naturally after menopause. Check every 3-6 months. If the uterine fibroids are significantly enlarged or there are menorrhagia or compression symptoms, surgery should be performed at any time.

2. Drug treatment: There are many drugs for treating uterine fibroids, but so far, no drug can cure uterine fibroids. Most drugs can shrink or eliminate fibroids during treatment, but they often recur after stopping the drug. Commonly used drugs include Norled, Difeline, Premeditated, Mifepristone and traditional Chinese medicine.

3. Surgical treatment: The scope of surgery for uterine fibroids includes myomectomy, total hysterectomy and subtotal hysterectomy. The surgical method can be performed through laparotomy, vaginal, laparoscopic or hysteroscopy. Among them, myomectomy is suitable for young people, especially those who still want to have children, but myomectomy often recurs after resection. Therefore, hysterectomy is recommended for those who have more fibroids, are older, have obvious symptoms, and do not need to have children.

The above are the treatment methods for uterine fibroids. We know that if diet and exercise are combined with any disease, the effect of treating any disease will be twice the result with half the effort.
