Transmission routes of vaginitis Prevention measures of vaginitis

Bacterial vaginosis often occurs in our daily lives, leading to more causes, among which transmission is the main pathogenic factor. We should do a good job of prevention in our daily lives.

Causes of Bacterial Vaginosis

1. Sexual transmission: When a woman has sexual contact with a Candida-positive man, the infection rate is 80%; about 1/2 of men have sexual contact with women with candidal vaginitis.

2. Abuse of antibiotics: Although 10% to 20% of healthy women carry Candida in their vaginas, in certain special cases, such as long-term use of antibiotics and diabetes, vaginal Candida infection can be induced, but candidal vaginitis can also be infected from the outside.

3. Indirect transmission: Indirect contact infection is also a way to spread candidal vaginitis. Contact with toilets, bathtubs, bathroom chairs, towels, and using unclean toilet paper can cause transmission.

4. Unclean sexual life. First of all, unclean sexual intercourse is the main cause of bacterial vaginitis infection, because most bacterial vaginitis is almost caused by sexual contact, mainly by patients with bacterial vaginitis. They are the main source of infection. Bacterial vaginitis has the characteristics of fast transmission and high infection rate, and usually occurs about 3 weeks after infection.

5. Accidental trauma infection. Bacterial vaginosis Bacterial vaginosis virus can enter the body through small broken wounds on the skin or mucous membranes. After lurking for a few days, the bacteria multiply to a sufficient number and begin to cause disease. Therefore, we should be careful of broken wounds.

6. Because of low immunity. Mainly refers to towels, foot cloths, foot basins, quilts, and even toilet seats, which can be infected with secretions or pollutants from patients with non-sexual contact infection and bacterial vaginitis.

7. Bacterial vaginosis inoculation infection. During the treatment process, the lesion tissue of bacterial vaginosis may contaminate other parts, such as the skin mucosa around and distal to the inoculation of bacterial vaginosis.

Preventing Bacterial Vaginosis

1. Pay attention to personal hygiene and keep the vulva clean and dry; pH4 weak acid formula feminine care liquid is more suitable for daily cleaning and maintenance. Wash underwear frequently, do not share bath towels or bathtubs with others, do not wear underwear made of nylon or similar fabrics, and bath towels and underwear used during illness should be boiled and disinfected.

2. Strengthen health publicity, conduct regular surveys and treatments of female workers and students in factories, institutions, and residents, especially those in dormitories, to eliminate sources of infection.

3. During treatment, sexual intercourse is prohibited, or condoms should be used to prevent cross infection. Vaginal medication and sitting baths should be avoided during menstruation. Those with recurrent episodes should check their husband's urine and prostate fluid, and check repeatedly if necessary. If positive, they should be treated together.

4. Try to use condoms during sex to prevent cross infection. After diagnosis, you should consult your sexual partner for diagnosis and treatment.

5. Develop good living habits, have a regular daily life, eat light food, avoid spicy and irritating food, exercise regularly, and improve immunity.

6. No sanitary pads are needed. Change underwear every day. Wear pure cotton underwear to keep the vulva clean and dry. Do not mix underwear with other clothes and dry it after washing.

7. Strengthen self-protection awareness to avoid cross infection caused by crowded places, saunas, swimming and use of public bathroom supplies.
