Be careful of uterine prolapse if you are eager to lose weight after giving birth!

More and more new mothers are in fashion and hope to recover their bodies as soon as possible after giving birth, so they can't wait to lose weight, run, lift weights, skip rope... like they did before four weeks after giving birth, allowing themselves to exercise, but these are postpartum taboos. Don't lose weight so early after giving birth, otherwise it will trigger a series of gynecological diseases.
The uterus is like a magic house that women give to their babies. Once the baby is born, it begins to shrink. About 6 weeks after delivery, the uterus basically returns to its pre-pregnancy size. If you lose weight too early after delivery, especially if you do strenuous exercise, it will affect the recovery of the uterus and easily cause uterine bleeding, infection and vaginal bulging. In particular, some weight-bearing exercises will increase abdominal pressure, causing temporary descent of the uterus or even uterine prolapse.
So, how do you avoid these injuries?
1. It is not advisable to lose weight too early after childbirth: natural childbirth

For mothers without postpartum bleeding, they can get out of bed and move around 2-3 days after delivery, and do some pelvic contractions 3-5 days after delivery. They can do soft gymnastics or stretching exercises two weeks after birth. They can start stretching exercises one month after cesarean section, and abdominal muscle exercises are suitable 6-8 weeks after delivery.
2. Severe medical assistance: surgical removal of the cervix or tightening of the ligaments to treat uterine prolapse.
Don't overdo it: Some people have tested that when the weight is 20 kg, the position of the cervix does not change significantly, but when the weight is 40 kg, the cervix has a significant downward shift. Therefore, don't do excessive exercise, such as weightlifting.
