3 conditions that must be met for medical abortion

Medical abortion, also known as drug abortion, refers to the use of Mifepristone tablets plus misoprostol to terminate early pregnancy. In recent years, it has been widely used in clinical practice and is very popular. In the early stages of pregnancy, the purpose of artificial abortion can be achieved by injection or medication without surgery.

Although medical abortion is simple, effective, non-invasive, and avoids complications that may be caused by entering the uterine cavity, it is not suitable for everyone. Private experts remind that if you want to perform medical abortion, you must meet three conditions, otherwise it will cause great harm to the body:

The conditions for medical abortion are: 1. The age of the pregnant woman cannot be over 40 years old. This is because the drugs used in medical abortion will adjust the endocrine of the female ovaries. The ovaries of women over 40 are in the stage of decline. If they are affected by the drugs at this time, they are likely to experience menstrual disorders or even early menopause.

The second condition for medical abortion is that the gestational age of the pregnant woman must be within 49 days; the third condition for medical abortion is to determine whether the embryo is implanted in the uterus. The latter two major indications can only be clearly determined with the assistance of B-ultrasound. Therefore, some informal small clinics only judge that the pregnant woman is pregnant based on the phenomenon of amenorrhea and positive urine test, and then easily perform medical abortion on them, which is very dangerous.

In terms of age, women over 40 cannot have medical abortion, and neither can women under 18. The effects of the drugs can cause menstrual disorders.

In addition, if some women have undergone multiple curettage abortions before, the uterine wall has become thinner or damaged. If the dosage of the abortion drug is not properly controlled, it may cause uterine rupture.

On this basis, any type that does not meet the three major indications cannot be aborted through medical abortion, otherwise it will pose a great threat to pregnant women, or even death.
