Daily dietary principles for patients with cervical precancerous lesions

I have seen some prescriptions for treating cervical precancer, which listed dozens of taboo foods! I find it ridiculous, because apart from the taboos, the patient can hardly eat anything. In fact, there is no universal food that cannot be eaten during the course of cervical precancer. Instead, there are different taboos based on the constitution of each patient and the different types of syndromes. The patients are most concerned about three meals a day and fruit consumption. Here is a brief introduction:

Breakfast: You can have porridge, rice gruel, or bread, but avoid pancakes and fried dough sticks. For those with dampness and greasy tongue coating, avoid sweets and fermented bean curd, and eat light and fresh food. For those with qi stagnation and abdominal distension, avoid milk, soy milk, peanuts, etc. For those with yin deficiency and hyperthermia and red tongue, avoid spicy food. For those with anorexia, jellyfish and pickled mustard can be used appropriately. Xiong Shaoquan, Department of Oncology, Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Lunch: Rice, porridge, noodles, bread, etc. are acceptable. For those with dampness, avoid sweets, dairy products, and greasy foods. Instead, light and vegetarian foods are preferred, and carrots and bamboo shoots are the best vegetarian foods. For those with abdominal distension and qi stagnation, avoid potatoes, fatty meat, liver, peanuts, and crabs, and eat small meals frequently. For those with heat evil, avoid spicy foods, and use garlic, onions, and ginger in moderation. Avoid chicken, avoid frying, and eat winter melon, tomatoes, black fungus, mushrooms, etc. instead. For those with spleen deficiency, lean pork, crucian carp, ham, bacon, fermented rice, and soy products are suitable. For those with yin deficiency, avoid spicy foods, and eat milk, lard, and pork skin. Avoid leeks and eels in dishes, and eat soft-shelled turtles, turtles, fungus, ducks, sea cucumbers, abalone, etc.

Dinner: Similar to lunch, the principle should be to change frequently, keep the quantity small, keep the quality good, taste fresh and not greasy.

Fruits: For fruits and beverages, patients with heavy dampness should avoid peaches, pears, apples, etc., and can drink cardamom shells soaked in water instead of tea. Tea should also be avoided. People with qi stagnation and abdominal distension should avoid peaches, apples, and bananas. Raw radishes can be eaten as fruits, or roasted malt sprouts or roasted malt soup can be drunk frequently instead of tea. For those with excessive heat, watermelon is the most suitable in summer, and raw pears and sugarcane juice can be given in winter. For those with spleen deficiency, fruits should not be too cold and should not be consumed in excess. For those with yin deficiency, light salt water can be taken in the morning, and raw pears and sugarcane can be used.
