Can cervical erosion be transmitted to others?

Cervical erosion is a relatively common gynecological disease. Many people suffer from this disease, which is often manifested by abnormal leucorrhea, dysmenorrhea, exogenous itching, etc. Therefore, when similar situations occur, you should go to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible to avoid serious torture. Let's take a look at whether cervical erosion is contagious.

The causes of cervical erosion include mechanical stimulation or injury, such as sexual intercourse, abortion and delivery lacerations and bacterial invasion causing cervicitis; pathogen invasion, common common pyogenic bacteria such as Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Gonorrhea, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, viruses, Actinomycetes, Trichomonas, and Ameba can all cause cervicitis. For cervical erosion, first find out the cause of cervical erosion and clarify what causes it, so as to know whether it is contagious. Under normal circumstances, cervical erosion is not contagious, and it is recommended to go to the hospital for examination and timely treatment. Although cervical erosion itself is not contagious, it cannot be ruled out that the disease that causes cervical erosion can cause infection to the partner through sexual contact.

Do the following to effectively prevent cervical erosion:

1. Do not over-clean. Many women with cervical erosion lack the necessary hygiene knowledge and often use high-concentration washes to wash the vagina in the hope of improving the symptoms. As a result, not only does it not improve the symptoms of cervical erosion, but it also affects and destroys the growth of normal flora in the vagina, destroying the balance of flora, thus causing vaginitis.

2. Avoid unclean sexual intercourse. When patients with cervical erosion have sexual intercourse, the penis and cervix come into direct contact, which will bring inflammation on the cervix into the vagina and infect the vagina. In addition, if men do not pay attention to hygiene, it will cause vaginal infection. The formation of vaginitis will make it difficult to treat cervical erosion. Therefore, try to avoid unclean sexual intercourse, and it is best to stop sexual life during treatment.

Regarding the question of whether cervical erosion is contagious, through the introduction of experts, everyone has their own understanding and insights. Generally, the disease is not contagious, but it does not mean that we can relax our vigilance. Active treatment is also needed. At the same time, during the treatment period, sexual intercourse must be prohibited to prevent harm to others and yourself.
