Will adnexitis be inherited by the next generation?

Will adnexitis be inherited by the next generation?

With the development of the social environment and the improvement of the social status of female friends, the pressure they bear is getting heavier and heavier. Many female friends did not have time to seek treatment after they found that they had physical discomfort. Over time, some inflammation appeared in the body, such as adnexitis! So after getting adnexitis, will it be inherited?

Among the female internal reproductive organs, the fallopian tubes and ovaries are called uterine appendages. Adnexitis refers to inflammation of the fallopian tubes and ovaries. However, fallopian tube and oophoritis are often accompanied by parametrial connective tissue inflammation and pelvic peritonitis, and it is not easy to distinguish them during diagnosis. In this way, pelvic peritonitis and parametrial connective tissue inflammation are also classified as adnexitis. Among pelvic organ inflammations, fallopian tube inflammation is the most common. Due to the proximity of anatomical parts, fallopian tube inflammation, oophoritis, and pelvic peritonitis often coexist and affect each other.

In mild simple adnexitis, inflammation subsides after active treatment in the early stage, and the fallopian tubes may not have anatomical changes, and their functions are well restored, which has little effect on conception. Severe adnexitis, especially tuberculosis or gonococcal infection, can cause adhesion, distortion, and stenosis of the fallopian tubes, and damage the normal anatomical relationship between the fallopian tubes and the ovaries, even if they are cured, leading to infertility. Although some women become pregnant, the rate of ectopic pregnancy is also high.

Adnexitis is chronic salpingo-oophoritis. Ovariitis and salpingitis combined are called salpingo-oophoritis or adnexitis. If the acute stage of salpingo-oophoritis is delayed or incompletely treated, it will become chronic over time. With many powerful antibiotics available today that are effective in treating acute salpingo-oophoritis, the possibility of acute lesions turning into chronic ones has been greatly reduced. However, if it is caused by tuberculosis infection, it is generally a chronic disease process.
