What are the types of symptoms of irregular menstrual bleeding?

Uterine bleeding is a more serious form of menstrual irregularity, which has a significant impact on women's health. It mainly includes the following two types.

1. Functional uterine bleeding

Functional uterine bleeding generally has no obvious organic lesions in the internal and external genitalia. It is mainly caused by endocrine regulation system disorders. It is a kind of abnormal uterine bleeding phenomenon. It often occurs in female puberty or menopause. It is a common type of menstrual disorders. There are two main types: ovulatory and anovulatory. Clinical case statistics show that 85% of patients with functional uterine bleeding have anovulatory lesions, and a small number of patients of childbearing age have ovulatory lesions, and the bleeding is cyclical.

2. Irregular uterine bleeding

There are four main types of irregular uterine bleeding, namely, excessive menstrual blood volume or prolonged menstrual duration; insufficient menstrual blood volume or shortened menstrual period; frequent menstrual periods with an interval of less than 25 days; and an interval of more than 35 days. Shortened or prolonged menstrual periods should not be considered as delayed menstruation. The amount, color, and duration of vaginal bleeding should be compared with previous menstrual conditions. If there is any abnormality, you should go to the hospital immediately. In addition, this irregular bleeding phenomenon is often complicated by four organic diseases, namely uterine fibroids, endometrial polyps, endometrial hyperplasia, and endometriosis. It needs to be taken seriously and you should go to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible to avoid missing the best early treatment opportunity for the disease.
