Early symptoms of cervical erosion should be understood

In recent years, the incidence of cervical erosion has gradually increased, which requires us to detect the early symptoms of cervical erosion in time and treat it. Many female friends may not be very familiar with the early symptoms of cervical erosion. Let us introduce them in detail below.

Cervical erosion is the most common local feature of chronic metritis. Due to the infiltration of inflammatory secretions, the squamous epithelium of the cervix falls off and is replaced by the columnar epithelium of the cervical canal, which manifests as cervical erosion. Clinically, cervical erosion is divided into grades I, II and III according to the size of the cervical erosion area.

The early symptoms of cervical erosion mainly include increased leucorrhea, which is the main symptom of the disease. Usually, the leucorrhea is milky white or light yellow purulent secretion, which is sometimes bloody or mixed with blood. The vulva and vagina may be stimulated by increased leucorrhea and may cause vulvitis or vaginitis, causing itching and pain in the vulva and vagina.

Lower abdominal and lumbosacral pain are also early symptoms of cervical erosion. When the inflammation is severe, it can spread along the uterosacral ligament and cardinal ligament to cause pelvic connective tissue inflammation, which causes lower abdominal or lumbosacral pain, accompanied by a feeling of falling. Early symptoms of cervical erosion also include frequent urination or dysuria. When the inflammation spreads to the bladder triangle or around the bladder, frequent urination or dysuria may occur.

The sticky leucorrhea is not conducive to sperm penetration, so severe cervicitis can cause infertility, which is also a common symptom of cervical erosion in the early stage.
