Causes of adnexitis

Causes of adnexitis

The occurrence of adnexitis is mainly related to factors such as infection, low immunity, and bad living habits. Treatment requires measures such as anti-infection, enhancing immunity, and improving lifestyle according to the cause.

1. Infection is one of the main causes of adnexitis. Bacteria, viruses or fungi spread to the adnexal area through sexual transmission, surgical operations or infection of adjacent organs, causing inflammation. Common pathogens include gonococci, Chlamydia trachomatis, etc. In treatment, doctors will choose antibiotics, antiviral drugs or antifungal drugs according to the type of pathogen, such as amoxicillin, acyclovir, fluconazole, etc.

2. Low immunity is also an important cause of adnexitis. Long-term stress, lack of sleep, malnutrition and other factors can weaken the immune system and make it difficult for the body to resist the invasion of pathogens. Ways to enhance immunity include maintaining a regular schedule, a balanced diet, and moderate exercise. In terms of diet, you can consume more fruits and vegetables rich in vitamin C, such as oranges and spinach; in terms of exercise, you can choose aerobic exercises such as yoga and jogging.

3. Bad living habits can also increase the risk of adnexitis. Behaviors such as sitting for long periods of time, excessive cleaning, and unclean sexual behavior may lead to poor pelvic blood circulation or invasion of pathogens. Improving lifestyles include avoiding sitting for long periods of time, properly cleaning private parts, and using condoms. Regular gynecological examinations can help detect and treat adnexitis early.

Adnexitis is closely related to infection, low immunity and bad living habits. Adnexitis can be effectively prevented and treated through anti-infection treatment, enhancing immunity and improving lifestyle. At the same time, regular gynecological examinations and timely medical treatment are also important links in protecting women's health.
