Which women are prone to cervical erosion? 1. A woman who has given birth. 2. Occasionally abnormal symptoms occur, but no medical treatment is sought. 3. People with symptoms such as abnormal leucorrhea, vulvar itching, lower abdominal pain, back pain, fatigue, and irregular menstruation. 4. Sexual history of more than 3 years. 5. People with a history of miscarriage. 6. Having more than two sexual partners. 7. People who take birth control pills regularly and irregularly. Introduction to physical therapy for cervical erosion Physical therapy is the most commonly used and effective treatment method, most of which can only be cured once. The principle is to destroy the single-layer columnar epithelium on the surface of cervical erosion through various physical methods, causing it to necrotize and fall off, and covered with new stratified squamous epithelium. It takes 3 to 4 weeks for the wound to heal, and about 6 to 8 weeks for cases with deeper lesions. Electric ironing or hot ironing is rarely used at present because it can easily cause adhesion of the cervical canal. Cryotherapy does not form scars, so cervical stenosis generally does not occur. Laser treatment of cervical stenosis is also rare, such as the surface, and most of them do not affect the elasticity of the cervix. Physical therapy considerations: ① Cervical smear cytology examination should be performed before treatment. ②Contraindication is acute genital inflammation. ③Treatment is prohibited within 3-7 days after the end of menstruation. ④ After physical therapy, vaginal discharge increases, even with large amounts of watery discharge. A small amount of bleeding may occur when the scab falls off 1 to 2 weeks after surgery. Care should be taken to keep the vulva clean and dry to prevent infection. ⑤ Bathing, sexual intercourse and vaginal douching for 4-8 weeks while the wound has not yet fully healed. ⑥Physical therapy may cause postoperative bleeding, cervical stenosis and infection. Regular follow-up should be conducted after treatment to observe the wound healing until it heals, and pay attention to cervical stenosis. |
