Adenomyosis occurs in women in our lives and has a great impact on the patient's normal work and life, but will adenomyosis cause bleeding?

Adenomyosis mainly occurs in menstruating women over 40 years old. Most of them have increased menstruation, prolonged menstruation, and progressively worsening dysmenorrhea. The pain usually starts a week before menstruation and lasts until the end of menstruation.

Some patients may experience unexplained symptoms such as mid-term vaginal bleeding and loss of libido. About 35% of patients have no clinical symptoms. The uterus is uniformly enlarged or nodular, hard and tender, especially during menstruation. 15-40% of patients have endometriosis, so uterine activity is sometimes poor. About half of patients also have uterine fibroids.

There is no effective drug for drug-induced diseases. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, oral contraceptives and other steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, oral contraceptives and other symptomatic treatments. GnRHa treatment can be used for young patients with fertility requirements and menopausal patients. GnRHa pain can be alleviated or eliminated, and the uterus can shrink, but symptoms will recur after stopping the drug, and the uterus will enlarge again.

In short, bleeding is a sign of adenomyosis. Because the symptoms are obvious, surgery is needed in time to avoid secondary anemia: It is recommended to consider surgery in time to avoid worsening symptoms.
